Cat Trapping 101 Workshop

Cat Trapping 101 Workshop In-Person

Join Best Friends and the Community Cat Support Network for this special workshop! "Community cats" are unowned, free-roaming cats who live and thrive outdoors, rather than indoors as pets. Best Friends Animal Society and other organizations use the term “community cats” because these animals are part of the community in which they live and are valued and often cared for by community residents.

Trap-Neuter-Return is a means of controlling populations of community cats in which cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and then returned to the outdoor location where they were living.

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of humane trapping to help community cats. This workshop covers tips, tools, and best practices for successful TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts in your area!
